Thanks for checking out my website. I'm Bryds, I'm a journalist, presenter, producer, and voiceover artist. I'm incredibly passionate about storytelling, music, film, television, and travel. Originally from Weymouth in Dorset, I now live in South London but my heart will always be by the sea! My Career
I've previously presented and voiced content for social media brands It's Gone Viral, Happiest, and Ultimate promoting positive news stories and lifestyle content. I began my journalism career interviewing actors like Melissa McCarthy, Javier Bardem, Matt Smith, Natalie Portman, and Tessa Thompson. I also pitched and launched my own series for IGV Presents called The Playlist interviewing musicians like New Rules, Netta, and Lindsey Stirling. After presenting my award-winning Saturday breakfast show on Riverside Radio for 2 years I'm now working with their news team bringing South West London the latest in local news stories.
Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open for the next BookTok sensation Heroes of Time by Wayne Kramer, a trilogy in which I play heroine Starlina Murdoch as well as other characters.
I've always been passionate about storytelling and bringing characters to life; this led me to train as an Actor at Bath Spa University specialising in Voiceover and Screen Acting. After honing my presenting skills at the TV Training Academy I set about writing, producing, and presenting my own children's TV pilot. And so, 'Jim And Bee By The Sea' was born! At the moment it is just a pilot, however, I would love to get funding to turn it into a series one day. In 2024 I gained a gold standard NCTJ postgraduate diploma.
